Crown of the Continent

Crown of the Continent

The ‘Crown of the Continent’ is a combination backpacking and canoeing adventure along the continental divide in the BC Rockies. The Rockwall Highline is rated as one of the most spectacular alpine hikes anywhere. The 5 day backpacking trip crosses alpine meadows and under awe inspiring peaks. The hiking trip finishes at the Vermillion River where we launch our SOAR inflatable canoes for a 130 km paddling adventure down the Kootenay River. The river offers stunning scenery and fun rapids.  This is a perfect mountain holiday.   Skill level 2.

"The combination of hiking and paddling in this exceptional area was the best! Thanks for an amazing holiday", Michael, Toronto
