Hello, my name is Will and I have just started my journey with Black Feather as their operations specialist. My passion for the outdoors developed at a young age where I worked and lived on a ranch for the first 15 years of my life. I spent many years exploring via horseback, until I found the world of whitewater canoeing and kayaking. I was introduced to paddling by my father, who took me on many classic Ontario trips in my youth. After my first trip down the Petawawa river I was hooked! I have jumped at every opportunity to get on the water during the past 3 years of living in the Madawaska Valley. Most of my padding experience has been on the Ontario and Quebec classic whitewater rivers such as the Madawaska, Ottawa, Petawawa, and the Rouge river! When I am not paddling, I can be found on the ski hill, exploring on my dirt bike, climbing, and fishing! Although my career in the outdoor industry is just beginning, I bring with me experience from many different sectors of the paddling world. I am super excited to be part of the Black Feather administration team and look forward to experiencing all that Black Feather offers to the paddling community!
