The Keele (Begaadee) is one of the most spectacular, yet unknown, rivers in the Northwest Territories. We are excited to offer an accessible option to experience the magic of this area by raft!  Our rafting route flows 300 km through beautiful mountain ranges to the Mackenzie River, just north of the fabled Nahanni River.

This is a fun stretch of river to raft, with many swifts and small rapids, as well as some fun wave trains. The river is wide and meanders through beautiful mountain valleys with breathtaking vistas. Hiking is easily accessible in the upper reaches of the river and will be an option for the group. In addition, one highlight of the trip will be the interpretation provided by our local Indigenous guides. As this is our first cultural rafting tour in this region, we have invited additional Indigenous guides to join us for training, so there will be ample opportunity to benefit from their presence. Only 6 spaces will be available for this departure!
