Named by UNESCO as the very first World Heritage Site, the Nahanni is definitely one of the world’s best canoeing rivers. It is the experience of a lifetime to explore the remote, pristine, alpine river valley of Nahɂą Dehé (the South Nahanni River). You will discover a mountainous wonderland with breathtaking canyons, a magnificent waterfall, diverse wildlife, and exciting paddling on the fast-flowing river. The two-week Nahanni “Classic for Women” follows the river from Gahnîhthah Mįe (Rabbitkettle Lake) to Náįlįcho (Virginia Falls), through the spectacular canyons to the Mackenzie Lowlands and the confluence with the Liard River. The trip is highlighted by fun Class I and II whitewater, interesting day hikes up tributary canyons and wildlife viewing.

With experienced female guides and a group of like-minded paddling companions, this trip is bound to provide a unique and wonderful wilderness experience.
