This backcountry skiing expedition will take you to discover the greatest secrets of the Saguenay region’s boreal forest. The vastness of the landscape will charm you during this unique mulit-day backcountry skiing expedition through a snowy refuge. Your guide will lead you to discover hidden treasures far from any signs of human presence. You’ll explore breathtaking snowy landscapes on peaks with stunning views on south-easten Quebec’s majestic Saguenay Fjord.

Each day you will traverse the boreal landscape on skis to a new winter refuge – a rustic winter cabin – where you will enjoy hot drinks,  hearty meals prepared by your local guide, and cameraderie with your small group. This adventure is an excellent “prep” trip for those interested in our longer Arctic skiing expeditions, not to mention a great stand-alone winter getaway.

This trip is run in co-operation with Fjord en Kayak, a local company who has been at the forefront of exploration in the area for over 25 years.
