Overview

Greenland is located between the Arctic and Atlantic Oceans, east of the Canadian Arctic archipelago. Although it is a part of the continent of North America, it has been politically and culturally associated with Denmark, Norway, and Iceland for more than a millennium.

Greenland is the world’s largest island, and over three-quarters of it is covered by the only contemporary ice sheet outside of Antarctica. It is also the least-densely populated country in the world. We explore the fjords of East and Northeast Greenland by sea kayak and on hiking excursions. Astounding icebergs, fascinating archaeology, and stunning scenery add to this adventure of a lifetime.
